Japanese Language and Culture are featured highly in the curriculum.
For the Dolphins (4-5 year-old) and Primary 1 (5-6 year-old) classes, the Japanese language program is offered as a Japanese Foreign Language (JFL) class or a Japanese Native Language (JNL) class. Students in the JNL class will have native level spoken Japanese and the curriculum focuses on reading and writing. From the Primary 2 class onwards, the Japanese class (KOKUGO) is taught under Japanese national curriculum and textbook, exactly the same program as Japanese elementary schools.
